ABOUT DEPARTMENT OF ADULT HEALTH NURSING

Welcome to the Department of Adult Health of the School of Nursing and Midwifery currently the department hosts majority of the courses in the School of Nursing and Midwifery. The Department runs BSc. Nursing programme and two Masters Programmes (Master of Nursing and MSc. Advanced Nursing Practice). With the exception of the Master of Nursing Programme (a regular two year research master’s programme), the others are offered on both regular and sandwich basis.

The Department of Adult Health is set to produce nurses with advanced knowledge and skills, capable of utilizing the most current evidence to delivery safe and competent care and related services to all manner of people at local and international levels. The Department is equipped with academic and professional staff who offer students a supportive and respectful environmental to achieve their potentials.
